Sisdina Girls Club
Young women, be your best SELVES.
Being strong and resilient means getting to know and like the person you are becoming.
How is this achieved? The chosen topics that are meant to be challenging, yet fun will direct the girls to acquire a better understanding of what it means to be a true Leader!!
A key part of the formative component of the activities of Sisdina Girls Club is the opportunity of learning how to set and achieve personal goals. Every month, a mentor is available to assist the girls in this important part of developing their leadership qualities.
The activities also focus on acquiring solid, social skills. Whether visiting with Seniors or learning how to give good eye contact & a handshake, the girls will understand how to make others feel welcomed and put at ease. This relates directly to the dignity that we all share as human beings.
The age range is geared for 11 yrs and 12 yrs old. And please note that your daughter should be turning 12 years old no later then January 1st.
The meetings occur once per month on Saturdays through the school year starting September through May beginning at 1:30 til 3:30 pm. Most of the time, the meeting location will be Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association. The Calendar has more complete details.
The cost for the year is $90/participant.
NOTE – If your daughter is too young for this Club, there is a Club for younger girls (8 yrs – 10 yrs old) designed just for them.
